Terms of Service

Last updated 3 September 2026

These terms govern your use of Panohrama at panohrama.com. By creating an account or uploading a photograph you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use the service.

Who may use Panohrama

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Panohrama only with the consent of a parent or guardian.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has access to it. One person, one account — do not impersonate anyone or pass your account to someone else.

Usernames appear directly in your profile URL. We may reclaim a username that impersonates a person or organisation, or that is needed for the operation of the site. Releasing a username makes it available to others, so we may hold one for a period after an account closes.

Your photographs remain yours

You keep every right you already hold in what you upload. Panohrama claims no ownership.

To show your work we need your permission to host it, so by uploading you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, resize, re-encode and publicly display it on Panohrama, and to generate the preview images that appear when someone shares a link. That licence exists only to run the service and ends when you delete the photograph, allowing for copies already cached by others.

What you may upload

Panoramas — the image must be at least 2:1 wide. And only photographs you have the right to publish.

Do not upload:

  • Nudity, sexual content, or anything sexualising a minor.
  • Anyone else's work without their permission, or anything that infringes a copyright, trademark or other right.
  • Photographs of private individuals taken or shared in a way that violates their privacy.
  • Violent, hateful or harassing material.
  • Anything unlawful where you are, or where we operate.

Moderation

Uploads appear immediately and are checked automatically for explicit content straight afterwards. A photograph that fails is removed from public view and looked at by a person.

We may remove any photograph, or suspend or close any account, where we believe these terms have been broken — without notice where the content is unlawful or harmful. If you think we have got it wrong, write to us and we will look again.

Using the service properly

Do not attempt to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to Panohrama or to anyone's account; do not scrape it at scale or resell access to it; do not upload malware. Automated access is fine in moderation and unwelcome when it degrades the service for others.

Availability

Panohrama is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and features may change or be withdrawn. Keep your own copies of your photographs — we are not a backup service.

Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Panohrama is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, for lost profits, or for loss of data or goodwill arising from your use of the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Ending it

You may stop using Panohrama at any time and ask us to delete your account — see the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Deleting your account removes your photographs from the site.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page always shows when they last changed, and we will tell account holders by email about anything significant. Continuing to use Panohrama after a change means you accept it.
